• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

Just bought my first cobra i can touch. Interested in learning about these cars but my draw with any computer stuff is my litteracey its bad
no need to explain just bair/bear with me on it. Started a wood floor business in Kansas City at 16 and never looked back and still up and running to this day. Never been employed by anybody.
So my car is a HighTech Industries out of Tempe AZ. 1992 or 1965 S/C 427 and it is 100% exact. It is going to need a lot of work with some 36000 miles on it.
I will Explain at Later date it needs a body. I know im up River from STL. but isnt that far just look at Lewis and Clark dont forget Sakajawea.
Looking foward to the future and do plan on participating and supportting this addiction.

Welcome to the club. So Hi-Tech is the South African company that builds the cars and they are imported through Superformance? You should be able to order a body from them to fit the chassis. I'd include the frame serial number and as much data as you can so they can match it up as best they can. What is the powerplant?

You may also reach out to Mid America Cobra Club located in KC. They have some helpful folks as well.

So the HighTech Company im refering to was before the south Africa Co. It was based out of Arizona i only researched on the internet to know this
The owners at the time where close to Carrol Shelby and where the only guys that made cars that would directly fit or swap parts with the real CSX cars. Also the previous owner kept an amzing record of everything from the day he wanted it till the day he said goodbuy to it.The paper works name has Tom Diosami something like that 1990 Then the order paperwork and invoicces have a young man named Mike Kenney.( I really dont know his age)

The powerplant is a real 1965 427 centeroiler with date matching carburateurs. side oilers came out late 66 after ford leanerd how 6000rpm was eating up main bearings/it has an inpendent rear end delivired in the car when purchased and updated tranny (Tremec)This frame even has the little nibbs cut into the front passenger top shock mount. That is a Shelby trade mark. Im sorry but i have became addicted to this car and it history it really is an amzingly well built hot rod of its day and i think can still hold it own in todays world.

Welcome to the pit Tracy. Sounds like you have your work cut out for you, but we as a club are more than willing to help where we can. We all like to spend other peoples money HaHa. Any Cobra can hold its own in the hotrod scene.
