Tiger Mom/Extreme Parenting

It's a little over the top.
Tell you what though - we could use a bit more "Tiger" schools, "Tiger" representatives, "Tiger" Bureaucrats, etc.
 
Maybe we need something closer to the middle. She is certainly extreme. But I would argue that a lot of today's parents are too permissive & namby pamby wimps who can't say no to their children. For cryin out loud be an adult/parent & so no to your child when warranted.
 
I agree 100% with you dave, seemed like when I was service manager alot of the young today seemed like they wanted a pay check but didn,t want to work for it. Examples late, called in sick alot, 1st to go running to the shop steward if you made them unhappy and had 1 that was cussing out his mom cause he couldn't make his car payment ( didn't like to work ). I also feel there would be alot less drug problems with kids and the young would have more respect for anybody in authority she keeps them busy so they have no chance of getting into trouble. Tiger schools ??? not the schools place to discipline just to teach. Its the parents place to discipline.

Seen some judges years ago tell youth you have to choices enlist or jail time for your offence. Had a kid on my street I grew up with and that was his choice and to tell you the truth it staighted his ass right up. Never hear of that anymore and maybe its due to the military don't want them.
