Oh I saw it coming. Hopefully the supreme court will over rule it since there is now a clear decision on the right to bear arms. Plus statistical data proved that crime didn't go down because of the ban.

Ahhhh...don't confuse Democrats with facts.
Anyway...Nancy has already put the kibosh on it...for now. She still remembers the backlash in 1996 to Democrats after the 94 AW ban. Today that backlash would be MUCH worse in 2010 because of the socialist direction our alleged president is taking the country and all of the weapon and ammunition stockpiling now taking place by citizens. Such a move could be the impetus to see armed revolt in the streets. There is already a march on Washington planned for next Spring by gun owners wanting to exhibit support for the second amendment.

This is being organized as a weapons free peaceful march...but the people on the streets preparing to participate are describing a much different scenario. This could get real ugly real fast...
BTW, Congressman Alan Keyes has filed a suit against Obama to prove he is an American citizen. The previous suit filed was not deemed appropriate by the court because the party filing did not have "standing" in the eyes of the court. However, apparently Mr. Keyes does as he was a presidential candidate in 2008. I'm interested to see where this leads.
