Please convey to all my sincerest appreciation for all of the help I received last night diagnosing the issue with my car. Undoubtedly I would otherwise still be there cursing and eating junk food.
For those who were not around for the solution, the problem was the little green battery disconnect that was inline on my battery ground cable. It was burned and making intermittent poor contact. Removing it from the circuit seems to have solved all issues. Of course, now I have an extra battery.
