They announced they will be doing annual tech inspections this Sunday at Gateway. The prerequisite is participation in 5 events in 2012 or 2013.

They usually also have annual inspections for road racing and PDX and the drag racing program in the same area, but no mention of those in the email. And nothing on the websites.

Usually a good excuse to stand around and talk cars.
 
Everybody who thought the 22nd was Sunday raise your hand.
Everybody who knows the club never does anything on Saturdays and holds everything on Sundays raise your hand.
Everybody who was standing at the locked gate this morning trying to figure out where the hell everyone else was, raise your hand.
 
Funny stuff Bill! You are not the only one to make a mistake like that. I missed it last year as well but they gave me a annual sticker during tech at the 1st event. No big deal!
 
You're right, they will put an annual inspection sticker on it the first time it get's inspected, but I was looking forward to standing around and getting caught up with everyone. And my end of the conversation would not be doom-and-gloom. At the risk of jinxing everything, sales are up (of small and medium ticket items) and things seem to be falling into place a little better than they have for the last 6+ years.
