Has anyone installed one? I picked one up last night to install under my kitchen sink since the gas water heater is on the other end of the house, it sometimes takes up to 4 minutes just to get hot water to the tap in the kitchen. I was thinking, until I unboxed the one I purchased, that the existing hot water line would connect to the tankless water heater, then to the faucet. However, all installations show the cold water line connecting to the tankless water heater then to the faucet. This is an issue for me as I want hot water if I lose power at the sink. So, the unit monitors the temp and shuts off when not in use. My thinking is to hookup the hot water line to the unit since the incoming water is cold at first, then, as it heats up, the tankless heater should shut off......RIGHT? Otherwise, if the cold water only is hooked up and heated, you would just shut off the hot water line, or install a 'T' in both lines? Bought this UNIT.

I'd connect to the hotter line. It should shut off when the hot water gets there from the hot water heater

If you connect the cold water line to that heater, then how will you have cold water at the faucet when you want it. Do you have a hot and cold water faucet or just the single faucet that both come out of?
