swap meets and shows

Hi, I live in Piedmont and am out of the loop when it comes to hearing about some swap meets I am going to be in St. Louis for the next 3 days and I heard somewhere there was a swap meet March 1st. Any one know about this? It may have been in S. Ill. If possible will someone that knows about this call me on my cell at 573-427-9558 Thanks Paul, AKA sidepipe49

yes,, we are going tomorrow i believe i put in to the calender,its up nw county at the old central hardware we are still looking for a straight front axle (dropped)log onto craigslist also and type in swapmeet in the autoparts section there is 3-or4 in March:)

Hey Leo what time do you plan on arriving at the swap meet tomorrow? I'm considering going. I'm thinking of stopping at a waffle house for breakfast in the morn. beforehand. I'm going to google the nearest location.
 
we will be there early looking for any old hemi parts and straight front
axles,i am also going to keep my eye out for sbf vintage valve covers
 
If I go I'll get there early also. Is there a designated starting time? I'll probably be wearing an old grey & blue coat over a hooded sweatshirt jacket & I'll have the hood up. I'm 5'10 & weigh 145ish.

iscrewed up my neighbor told me this place but late last night he called and said thats the roaring 30's and thats next week-end the one we will be at is the highland swap thought it was next week but never checked my own calender:rolleyes:

not a good one only if u like circle track stuff and chevy parts we were there probably
for a 45 minutes and then hit the road, no good parts roaring 30's is on the 8th where we thought we were going to today, but i won't be going there 2 weeks in a row is enough
but my buddy will be going.......he will probably see his buddy Pope there though i think that one will have good ole parts.....Leo

No problem buddy. Ya know maybe we should start callin ya the Piedmont Kid. :) I'm thinking about going to the swap meet in Duquoin, IL. on the 22nd. My in-laws live 30 mins from there. How far is Piedmont from there? BTW My name is David/Dave, but I'm ok with Matthew cause I like the scripture "Be as shrewed as snakes and as innocent as doves." :D

yah really David imagine all the names i have been called,:eek:
Matthew a great name,my nephew and god-child also was my best friends name, he got killed, but he lives in my yard as a strong tree this is why i never forget my buddy, i have a tree for everyone of my friends that have past on..you know i believe its a forest i have planted:)
Dave and Sidepipe the roaring 30's swap is Sunday this ought to be a good one... i like older stuff to incorporate on my build..always looking: but won't know if i am going till SAt.:)
