Ok, now that i've gotten my t-shirts, I'm ready for something else from the store:D Soooo, had this idea (not really my own) about a STL Calendar featuring, of course, our cars and St. Louis landmarks. For instance, Oddball's car would look cool under the Arch, Mine by a vineyard (grape ape by a grape sign, get it?), Tom's by Stan the Man's statue at Busch (Red and White). So, what do you think and do we have a photographer on "staff" to suggest what/how many pixels minimum the pictures need to be. Best lighting etc.... Would everyone pay $15 for this? What do you think?

The higher the resolution with Digital, the better the reproduction. I use to shoot a lot of B&W film, and developed my own prints. You may have noticed the shots from Italy in the frames hanging around my house...

I don't have a great digital camera, but know someone who does, so maybe I can be our club photographer if that is what you are looking for. I know how to use photoshop and can tweak, edit out stuff, crop, etc. and make so so pictures better.

With the number of cars at the last meeting, I'm sure we can accumulate pictures for a calendar next year. Most of them have 13-14 months...and with RNG coming up, we can even get some action photos!

I think you can go to Walgreens or Wally World, or a photo store and "upload" your photos into a pre-made calendar format, or maybe someone has the "in" to a place online that can do this for us...

Great idea Hollywood, and all this time we thought you just had a big motor!
 
There is a guy in St. Louis that specializes in classic car photography. Tom & I met him last year at St. Charles "Blast" Event.
 
Sorry to Hijack this thread, but...................

I would like to see the next "project" be the round window stickers/decals. I would like to put 2 of them in the corners of my windshield. I know U are very busy Mark & I don't mean to bombard U w/new demands every time U turn around, but.............. when ya get the time Club Logo windshield decals 4 sale by the club would be really cool. BTW The "Capitol Area" (Washington DC) Cobra Club had really neat ones @ THE London Cobra Show. The guy who had the smokn hot "Oh too sexy red" beast w/a Chebby @ London was a member of their club. He said he is from Cleveland, Ohio & that he joined their club cause the guys in the DC club were more fun. Now thats what I'm talkn about! Thats what I want our club 2 be known for. How bout U Ogie? :D:cool::D:cool:
 
See, you hijack threads so often you don't know the difference now :D Sounds like a good Store Suggestion to me.

Anyone need a high resolution camera for the shot? Mark or I can help you there. Here is one I THOUGHT about submitting, but don't like the tree trunks behind the car there.

Mark, how many were ordered? Maybe these could be sold at RNG too?
 
I'm picking up the stickers tomorrow.
I ordered 100.
They will be free to members - 2 each.
