This next weekend is the annual big show downtown at the convention center. I received a call from T&E Legendary in Ross, Ohio (owner Tom Hoppenjans) - a Shelby dealer where my engine was built and car finished, that they had some big news. One - they will be the newest Superformance dealer. Two -they will have a display at the St. Louis show (along with Fastlane). And Three - they do not have a Superformance car to display.

They'll have a CSX car or two, and Dave/Dean's GT40 - but they want to use MY CAR as a display !!!!!!!!!!

So, if you have a chance to get down to the auto show next week/weekend - look for Fastlane/T&E Legendary Classic display (somewhere near an entrance I'm told) and look for The Blue Beast.

I'm going to try and make it down on Saturday.

Congratulations on getting the opportunity to show off your car Mark, a well deserved chance for the public to see a real beauty.
 
I LOVE YOU CHUCKIE! You ROCK! :D BTW My Buddies Danny & Moe want to take Mark's beast for a ride cause he says he's never floored it! :eek: They want to show him HOW to drive it. :D
 
Got 'er all shined up (including the inside of the sidepipes) and ready to go. Never looked better. Started it up. Man I miss that sound. GRRRRRRR. The garage filled up with fumes and then my daughter came out. She said Dad I love that smell - Yep - she's a car guy!
 
:cool:COOL:cool: Tell us how it goes. Ya know with those long flowing locks & those ultra cool retro sunglasses all the hot babes will think your some kind of rock star. :p You may have groupies hangin around ya wantin autographs. :p You lucky stiff. All kiddin aside have a good time.
 
We'll be down Saturday as well. Probably close to lunch time.
 
Meeting Mark and Madison at Lumiere Place at 11 Saturday. Figured we could eat lunch there and then use the tramway to the convention center if anyone else is interested.
 
Oh yes - now - I'll be cleaning them after every drive. They just look so good.
 
Too bad Sunoco is not still offering "dial" you octane...how much is 110 octane going for now?

Man oh Man Snakey what does it take to get an invite to Deano's? How's the air up there in that stratosphere with the big shots like Deano? :D Sorry bout the OT. :p
 
My house, Hell I was at his place!!!

A trip through Southern Illinois even in the winter is a good drive.

Mike, the race gas is a little more stable when it comes to price. It runs about 6 to 6.50 a gallon but it smells so good!:eek: What does a gallon of perfume cost? I'll better the race gas is cheaper.
 
OK Deano I see you were in the rarefied air around McLeansboro. Wow! Lucky stiff. How does it feel to get an invite to the big shot's house? I don't know what that feels like! :p Sorry bout the OT. How's the Show goin in downtown STL?
