We are getting ready to migrate the stie software from vBulletin to Xenforo, a more modern, supported software platform. It has a number of features that are not on vBulletin (voting, notifications, all device Responsive, Facebook interchange, etc) and fixes a number of broken items (searches, picture posting, to name a couple). We also plan to include a light and dark theme so you can customize your interface.

If there are features you have seen on other forums you use that you would like to see included, could you list them here? It may be just a check of a box to enable it.

Likewise, if there is something on the current site that gives you issues or youi would like to see changed, list that also

Ability to just like a post instead of having to respond/reply with another post
 
This may be a config issue (I remember going thru a couple options when the site initially changed).
I struggle to read this on my laptop and can forget it on my iPhone. The Red and Black color fonts on the dark grey is tough to read (I know age doesn't help!)

Maybe somewhere on the site that explains how to work/access the key features of the site?

Examples from our current site would be things like adding pictures to posts, starting a new post and adding rides to the garage?

The new package includes a new light and dark screen theme. It also is responsive to screen size so it adapts to the type device you are on (desktop, laptop, tablet or phone)

New site includes links for how to's for the website and Garage and Articles section. It also has a new calendar widget that you click a box to list the item on the calendar automatically. We figured using the forum would also be a topic for the Kick-Off gathering and probably another meeting also.
 
Couple other items

  • Currently studying how to incorporate the dues process into the site.
  • Software has a 'share to FaceBook' button so teaser thread with image is posted automatically on the Facebook page. When you see the post on Facebook, the preview link takes you into the forum automatically. It allows you to sign on with FaceBook or Google credentials
