Set of 4 Hoosier A6 slicks for sale. 315/35 17 and 275/40 17. Used. Tire Rack lists them new for around $1300 plus shipping. Is $400 fair?

How used? They won't fit on my car, but I know at least 3 people on here that needs to jump on this (keith, Rick, Mark...)

Their value very much depends on their condition. The A6 normally does not make it down to the cord. They are normally toast with as much as 50% of the rubber remaining. This is due to heat cycling, not wear. It is kind of like a trailer tire with 50 miles on it that is shot due to dry rotting.
That being said, if they are in good shape then $400 is not too bad.

These belonged to Mark Earls. You might call him and ask. I'm not familiar with slicks at all, but they still have a decent depth to the two concentric grooves. David
