Addition to that thread would be:

Steve has now purchased a Lotus Exige, and that has become his track car of choice. See pic below:

Also, Steve's 1/4 mile time has gone down to an 11.91 (?) I think. Steve still has "Kate" and has over 40,000 miles I believe. Sorry I missed doing this and thought I would get caught up.

Thanks for catching up on this. I'd completely forgotten about it.

Yep - the Exige is now the track car, but Kate still gets plenty of use. I'm 12 miles away from rolling over 44,000. If you add in my first car I'm north of 62,000 miles in a little over 7 years. Best 1/4 mile ET has been 11.73.
