I can't stress how good these detectors perform. They have GPS, red light camera database, and some of the longest range Ka band detection in the industry. They compare directly with Valintine1, Redline and other units costing $400-$600...and often exceed the performance of these units with excellent filtering of false signals.

LRD950 selceted as oe of the five "Best radar detectors of 2015"

A professional Radar Detector tester with his well respected "Vortex" channel... posted a new review of the "Best Radar Detectors of 2015"...just three days ago... where he selected the Uniden LRD950 as one of the best radar detectors you can buy... at any price:

He compares it's performance with detectors costing $400-$650.
He also references the LRD950's street price at $200-$250...making the current $149.95 price at the link I posted....all the more impressive....:eek:

If you don't have a good radar detector....you won't find this kind of performance for 2.5-4X the price.

You can effectively equip 2-4 vehicles with radar protection for what it would cost to protect just one vehicle with one of the other more expensive detectors.
