For the last event of the season for the St. Louis Region, Sports Car Club of America, we’ve organized the Great Pumpkin Challenge, a Sunday afternoon Thanksgiving-themed road rally from O’Fallon, Mo., to Hermann, Mo.
The Great Pumpkin Challenge is a low-key question-and-answer excursion of about 60 miles. Expect country roads along Missouri’s Weinstrasse and ample time to enjoy the sights and sounds of Hermann in the run-up to the holiday season. Along the way, you’ll answer yes/no questions based on signs along the rally route.

So, in brief:
What: The Great Pumpkin Challenge, a road rally to Hermann, Mo., organized by the St. Louis Region, Sports Car Club of America.
When: Sunday afternoon, Nov. 22, 2015, beginning at noon.
Where (the start): Denny’s Restaurant, 1140 Technology Drive, O’Fallon, MO 63368 (I-64/40 & Hwy K).
Registration: Noon to 12:45 p.m. (Arrive early and enjoy breakfast at Denny’s.)
Drivers meeting: 12:45 p.m.
1st car departs: 1:01 p.m.
What you need: A car (or van or SUV, etc.), a driver and a navigator, a clipboard, some pencils and paper, and an inclination to take a Sunday afternoon drive.
Entry fee: $20.00 (cash or check).
