Says he's going to campaign a coupe built by RCR.

Seems that the sensation you get in your pants at 140mph in an open cockpit car with a single 3-point rollbar doesn't sound like fun anymore.

Maybe he'll chime in and share his plans
 
The price seems about right for a very nice car. I hope somebody locally is able to pick this car up.
 
You guys are quick! I just took it over there on Saturday. He said he didn't have any cobras to sell so I thought I would see what happens. I don't care either way. Paul is right, I want to go back to my racing roots and the cobra makes me a little nervous. The basic design limits me a little bit if I want to start running in the NASA series. I am going with a full on race car this time. My cobra is an awesome example but it is a cruiser and a track day car but not a race car.

Besides that, you guys know I need a project and that car is finished. What would I do with my time this winter?
 
Me passing you at Hallett didn't make you do this did it? ;) :p. So what are you bringing to hallett in the spring?
 
RCR has a neat line-up. I like the MKIV, the Superlite Coupe, and the 917 is neato.

I think the Coupe is pretty and a Vette drivetrain is bulletproof if done right.
 
The Superlight Coupe is the next project but no vette drive train. It is all custom proprietary suspension design. I'm going with a LS373 and a 2010 Porsche 997 6 speed gear box. Fran (owner of RCR) just won the national championships in the NASA racing series super unlimited class in car like this. It's all on hold if the Cobra doesn't sell. I'm not to upset either way. I still like the cobra too.
