Saturday looks great. I'm probably going to do the River Road drive. Fastlane to Golden Eagle. Riverroad to Alton. Back to Fastlane on 94. Probably go by Fastlane about 9. If anyone's interested, let me know.

Sounds like a great drive. I had kind of already planned to go to Pacific's car show, but, driving sounds good too. Will let you know tomorrow when the weather forecast get's better :-)

I usually stop at Aerie Winery in Grafton. Have you been up there? They call it the best view in the midwest and they may be right. Usually get a soft drink and sit out on the deck. And then, on the way out of Grafton, on the main street, there's a good ice cream shop which has very good banana splits. And usually take a quick drive through Elsah to see what might have changed. Used to be a great sandwich/dessert place there but it's been closed for years. And, of course, we can always trade in our cars at Fastlane on the way back (done that twice!). By the way, the Cars and Coffee at the Rolls Royce dealer has been cancelled.

I'm IN if I get my car back tomorrow, strong possibility thus can happen...Ian Turner...if not sorry to miss the River Road, always good!

Hey, there's no law that you can't show up in something else! You're in the club, not your Cobra (:>

We were just up there 11 days ago...Kathy loved it....and the Chicken Parmesan was great.
The view is spectacular...!

Kent...your car is in the club....:p :D

David, I'm going to have to pass. I've not been home much on weekends, and when I have been, I've been working on my bathroom. I need to get some much needed yard work done. Hope you have a great drive!

Darn it - "GRACIE" is still on the rack at FRANJO SPEED....was having wheels polished and clear coated, wheel man noticed a CRACK on one of rear wheel rims....I AM GLAD HE DID!.....nonetheless down for the count....17" Rears for Backdraft are hard to come by (not made anymore 18" now) found one at Vintage Wheels - California....snagged it, shipped today they say....hard to get and find = $$$$$. Yep $700 is the happy number! Pot Holes are expense, avoid at all costs! Sorry to miss the River Road event....disappointed but there will be others! Have a great cruise.....
