I just got a set of sbc 882 castings that were reworked to 2.02/1.90. Titanaum valves, steel seats and bronze guides. Paid less than what they are asking for 1 head.
Mike are these bare heads?
 
bought these for guy at the shop - 215cc 64cc As Cast 2.08/1.60 ALC.RHS35017 $299.99 ea. and all casting marks already removed and looked very nice and yes they are all bare - sorry I wasn't going to take the time to remove the brand x stuff and from what I was lead to believe these are made in the usa. you mite call and see if they offer other heads and complete combinations. rhs sells quality and have never heard of any problems with thier alum heads like some others with exhuast seats coming lose after get engine over heated. 1 must picture damage when seat keeps valve from closing and piston kisses the valve and snaps the valve head off. 1 piston 1 head and possible block damaged where it can't be sleeved.

The Small block heads serve a very valuable service.

You stand on them to get up over the wall to throw the Chebbie heads into the river.

When they're all gone, you then have room in the warehouse for the new Bib Block heads you're going to buy elsewhere

Couldn't resist this. RHS has a good product and decent pricing. They just don't cater to the big block people.

I got to defend the small block head for ford - who would make a head the part of the sealing surface for the valve cover is part of the intake - only ford

Bet my valve cover gaskets leak more than your valve cover gaskets
