Remote Control Cars

The technology over the last 5 years has grown by leaps and bounds.When I stopped racing Rc offroad cars and trucks they were running 65-70 mph, with the advances in brushless motors and lithium ion batteries,cnc components and building materials its just insane.
A battery used to last for a 4 minute race,now you can run the same battery for a full days racing without having to recharge.
 
Yikes! $1000+ for an electric R/C.

Pretty cool, but the problem with the on-road cars is where to run them.

I've got a 4wd on-road Associated car (can't remember what it's called), but it is a lot of fun to run it on a parking lot!
I think the 4wd off-road cars are more practical.
