real estate taxes for 2009

did anybody get theres increased, opened my dads recieved today in mail went up 27% st francois county mo. holly _ _ _ _ ! this in 1 year:mad:
 
I put his 90 year old butt back to work hope they got something wrong tried to call kerry - he's dear hunting neighbor behind dads property - he's hunting and other neighbor in texas and his wife afraid to open it. I know I will take tim the sheriff down with me, he give them a tongue lashing.
 
Dave to be fair you don't have personal property tax in IL. Remember MO R/E taxes are lower but we also pay for our stuff.
 
WOW I didn't know that. Do you guys blame some scum suckin liberal democrat for that or some cigar smokin greedy conservative republican for that? :D So you pay state inc. tx, sales tx, RE tx & pers. porp. tx! Ouch! :( Do they also tx ya per inch when ya pinch a loaf or are they just considerin that one? :eek::D
 
Yes sir by the inch and that my friends is gift tax for your info dave ha ha
dave if they could pick up a turd by the clean end you would get taxed on it

WOW they calculated wrong

some how they miscalculated school taxes - hmm wonder how many would not have caught this and paid - my 90 year old dad would have - I asked them that question and their comment was I am sure we would have caught that and given you a credit. yea right:p
