Recieved free tickets to teh Rams for Sun. Sect. 315. ticket says $100 on it. Hope they are good seats!

Silver Bullet, have fun! My favorite time of year. My stands are in place, I'm just waiting for October. I started to shoot a recurve and "sight the arrow", but I think my old trusty compound will be my weapon of choice this yet this year.

Now back to our reg. scheduled topic.

Yes! By leaving the best receiver on the field wide a$$ open

Yep they blew it. The margin between victory & defeat in the NFL is VERY slim. IMHO the two plays that cost them the game were 1. the fumble by the Rams' defensive lineman just as he was preparing to cross the line & score a TD & 2. the interception Sam (say it isn't so) threw near the 10 yard line with time winding down. Overall they played well including Sam. I am impressed with better talent on this team. Spags & Co. seem to be doing a lot better job of evaluating talent than his immediate predecessors. I liked Martz's wide open style better, but the talent at the skilled positions was better also then. I'm sticking with my initial prediction 4 victories or less this year, but I think they are on the up swing.

Agreed Dave. I think they will exceed the number of victories they've had the last two years. The offensive line is much better, pass blocking, not so much rush blocking. I wonder how come they can't use SJ39 like they did Faulk by lining him up as a wide out for short crossing patterns, screens and the like? Really, Bradford only threw a handful of passes longer than 10 yards, was disappointed in that as he is accurate passer. The secondary HAS to get better though.

Ok, we need to plan on going to a game. 10/3 against Seattle would be a good one - division foe and a winnable game.

Way too many dropped balls by receivers today. Bradford was on the $ the majority of the time. They say he throws a hard ball & that he needs to develop a little "touch." I think he is going to be great. What a great 1st NFL game. The kid's got it. I'm glad now that they picked him 1st as you predicted they should rather than the kid I wanted them to take who plays on the defensive line now for Detroit.

I never have been real high on SJ39. SJ is good, but he is no MF. He does not have near the talent Marshall had. MF was a rare jem. The total package. I used to marvel at the things MF did on the field. He had a rare talent for dodging tacklers & had great vision.

I'm definitely up for a game. I say we wait until the prices drop.
