A co-worker comes up to me and says "decided to drive the toy in today?" I say, "no, why?" He says there is a blue and white car like yours (guess he didn't notice mine was purple) in the lot. Sure enough, a FFR was in the furthest corner of the lot with a cockpit cover like I want! I left a post it note on his dash, hope it doesn't blow away and invited to the club, UNLESS he's already a member:o Anyone know who this is? Now, if I can only figure out how to put images in our gallery here......

Hmmmm..., Nope, never seen that one before. I don't know anyone locally with compomotive wheels, relocated hood latches or Darkwater mirror mounts. I hope he gets your note.

Hmmm, I've seen that car before.....
So, after work, the car is still there. So I sit in the parking lot like a Cobra Stalker :D and wait for the driver. The guy comes out, and I think, naw...., pull up and say "Hey, I know you!" It was Stan F4SFED! :oTells me he will be at the meeting Tuesday :D

Someone have the Chuck a Burger pics when Stan and his daughter were there?

Hey Stan, hope you stayed dry on the way home!

Tim I looked these tonneau covers today. Just google it and you'll find a lot of threads back to 2006.

Stan works in a building adjacent to mine. Small world huh? As for the tonneau covers, let me ask you this, if I get a LOCAL person to make these at a discounted CLUB price, how many takers would he have?

I have a tonneau cover identical to that at home in a box. My wife got it for me for Christamas the first year I had my kit. They are very well made, with fiberglass rods within to keep it taught. The guy from the FFcobra forum custom makes them for your seats, roll bar, etc. Very nice quality.

Could I borrow it to take to Color Match for a pattern?

I won't be needing it for a couple of months at least. If you would like it for a pattern, that is fine by me, I can bring it to the meeting on Tuesday.

New member...

Hey, this thread got a little off topic.

Speaking of possible new members, well maybe not so new but he wants to attend more meetings - Mark Gerecke (sp?) - silver/black Factory Five, works at Elco, dropped by my house tonight. His mom lives around the corner from us. Small world. He came to our meeting in June, and didn't know we switched nights....wants to come next week but said he is working or something...

Anyway, it was a nice surprise, I was just getting a cold beer out of the fridge when I heard the distinctive cobra rumble...so I stuck my head outside to see what was going on, thought at first it was just the neighbor with his Harley...but then I see the silver beast circling our cul de sac...and then thought it was OddBall stopping by...but the driver looked to good for it to be OddBall...

Mark and I chatted for a while, I showed him the progress on the bullit mobile which he liked since he bought his ride completed from a guy in Michigan.

Hope we see more of him at future events.

My wife and I were in a rush to leave to meet my folks for diner, and I felt bad cutting off our conversation...I forgot to get his email or number. Tim, do you have this by chance?

Scotty

Went to Buffalo Wild Wings tonight, and saw a Silver with Black stripes Superformance out front. I had a couple of Mark's website cards, as I was leaning in to the car to place them next to the shifter, a gentleman walks up looking at me as if to say "what the he$$?" Yeah, I would have to, just bad timing. Anyway, it was Mike Billingsley. He didn't seem too interested in joining the club, but I did tell him about the upcoming cruise and hoped he could come. Forgot to take a picture.
