Blago gets arrested. Now that's a shock. :rolleyes: How sad. Lots more of them would probably also get arrested if they used more wire taps. :( Joe the plumber throws John McCain under the bus. Now he says Sarah is the real deal. Obama's Senate seat is for sale on ebay item#220327037270. :D:p What a week.

To me the funny thing was he got in office to clean up the Ryan mess:eek:. I personally never liked the guy. He thinks the state ends at I-80! He always seemed corrupt before, because of his background, now this just proves it to me.

Was there a reserve on the seat?:D
 
I wonder if IL is the most corrupt state politically or otherwise? Perhaps LA would have something to say about that. :( Rajun Cajuns.
 
Nope. Politics in LA is a full contact sport. Have a friend that opened a restoration biz in New Orleans after Katrina. With the stories he mentioned I would have to believe that is corruption at its finest!
 
I find it very hard to believe that St. Obama knew nothing. He has the most astute political team assembled in history. These guys are without a doubt brilliant - and they knew nothing ?? Stay tuned folks - the I Know Nothing Chorus - is a song we'll be hearing for many years to come - this is just the first verse.
 
Now it comes out that the O man asked Blag to step down, and the candidate #5 was none other than Jesse Jackson, Jr. Sounds to me like the O man was just doing a little house cleaning.

BTW - media - this sort of thing has been going on for 1000 years - pull you head out.

Yea - St. = Saint. In the media's eye - he can do no wrong - and they're all expecting many many miracles. They're already trying to name a street here in the 'Lou for him. I fully expect a revision of Mt. Rushmore to be in the very near future.

But now, J Jackson Jr. (J5) denies it all - too much.
 
Lighten up on Rod Blowhard

As a lifelong(well almost, I am still alive)resident of Illinois and we do have a reputation to uphold and that was all Rod was doing!!!!
I can not belive the guy is so stupid....already under investigation and just dared the FBI to dig deeper...been going on since 2005. How much more is there. How much has he stashed off shore.
I thought about running for state office at one time but they found out my parents were married. I don't have any skeletons in my closet(they all still are breathing with flesh on thier bones).
I am interested to see how close they can tie Resko,Blagovich, Obama and Jones together.
What a shame. Greed is taking over in this country both financially and politically.
Am I just jeolous that I have not been able to line my pockets over the years....NOT

Hey Mike: Who should I sue 1st? Blowhard/Blago for being so stupid & arrogant for thinking he could dare the U.S. Atty to charge him with something? :eek: Maybe Mt. Jackassmore will have caricatures of Resko, Blowhard/Blago, Obama & Jones. :D BTW Since when was greed NOT part of the equation?

The weird points here are between the lines. This behavior is nothing new for politicians and business leaders. But, the FBI finally decided to record it and charge somebody - really? Really? Don't believe the hype. This smells like payback. Payback from the big O who didn't get along with that branch of the Chicago political machine. And, even scarier - it came just 1 day after Blago punished Bank of America for not supporting those fired workers at Republic Windows. Bank of America - one of the biggest benefactors of the bailout orchestrated by the dems. Could it be? Bankers, politicians actually controlling peoples lives? Not here - right? This story is just getting started. Wait till this guy goes trial. He's just crazy enough to spill the beans - unless someone pays him off for staying quiet.
 
A frightened moms point of view

I'm not waiting for anything from the government. The ship is taking on quite a bit of water and I want to get off. Everyday I here one of my friends is in fear of loosing a job, whole companies going under, layoffs, and 1-2 month co. idling. All the while they dump money into companies that without Americans spending and financially meeting their obligations won't make a damb bit of difference. You can bail out auto industries, but who has the money to buy a new car? You can bail out Wall Street but who has the confidence to invest or the money left to do so? Dump money into banks so they can cram it in a vault. Then tell the American people you should go to the bank and take out a loan to create stimulation. What they don't tell you is the credit and down payment that you now need for a loan is insane. Take a good hard long look at how our government is handling a crisis. You are on your own.Too many people who were living within their means, doing hard work, paying their bills, serving our country, are now getting screwed. The government has shined, polished and put new wheels on the cart, but they let the horses die of starvation.

As I was writing this I found out a friend is 30 days from bankruptcy on their business.
Hard working honest people who work 6 days a week to provide for 3 beautiful girls. Makes me hurt for them. They did nothing wrong to deserve what a bunch of greedy assholes have done to them and all of us. So from now on I'm taking my grandparents approach..Survival Mode. Time to stock the pantry so to speak. These people who are running our country, the rich, the ruthless and the clueless are going to kill the middle class. At the rate things are going, building a stocked and supplied shelter doesn't sound as crazy as it would have 5 years ago. Maybe we should start a commune where we all take care of each other, and live off the land. It certainly looks like we have enough men who know how to hunt.:D:D:D
