Polishing/Buffing

A couple have raised questions about polishing equipment. This came across my desk this morning:


They point out the potential problems of the rotary buffer. BE ADVISED. high speed and heat are not your friends

(Looks like Eastwood could use some help on their Spell-Checking)
 
If you're looking for a good buffer polisher you need to check out the Flex line. It will last a lifetime.
 
I need to get rid of some minor scratches on my passenger fender (surfaces scratches and you cannot fee them with your fingernail).
I have a good random orbital and have always shyed away from the Rotary Buffer.

Can anyone recommend a good Cut and Pad to use? (I used a Maquires Cur #7 before, but still some minor scratches/swirls). Is there a Brand that is better? (Groits?)

Figured I'd give it one more polish before I throw the cover on it for the Winter.
