Parade - July 4th - St. Charles

David Williams at Fastlane has invited us to join him and the Mayor of St. Charles at the front of their annual July 4th Parade - THIS SATURDAY.

Meet at Fastlane at 8:30 am - cruise to the parade route - fall in as directed - and be in the parade with your Cobra.

Bring plenty of candy to throw out to the crowd along the route. Sounds like a blast.

Sorry MArk. I already have a long standing commitment to the Webster parade. Not in it, but the whole family will be there.
 
I will be back in my hometown for their annual picknick/parade. Sorry.
 
Talked to Jim last night, I think he and I will be there. Not sure about the candy though, think they do that at Christmas :)
 
Since gas has dropped Debbie and I would be honored. We are getting ready to head up to Hannibal for the day, taking 79 up. Hope to eat lunch and watch a little of the Tom Sawyer Days activities. If anyone can come a long give us a call on our cell. Bruce

Well, Bruce, Jim and I were in the St. Charles parade Saturday. I didn't think we would need candy, boy, am I glad Dave gave me a couple of bags :rolleyes: But, I was out of candy 1/4 way through :( Was hot in the parade, but not too bad. Bruce said he could mark something else off his bucket list :D
 
Yep marked it off the list. We also ran out of candy quickly. That was a long parade but a lot of fun.
