I just returned from my brother-in-laws home in St Peters. His next door neighbors garage was up and had an old Willis station wagon in it..I noticed dual exhaust at the rear. 2+".
Had to investigate.1950 issue. Has a late model Corvette engine, Ford 9", and is straight and basically rust free and straight.
Talked quite awhile and has a hand full of other cars he is working on. Mostly bowtie stuff.
He was waiting on a couple of guys to show up and talk to him about painting it.
Does anyone know of a good paint shop in the area? Seems there was a thread on here awhile back, but I can't find it.
This is a gearhead from way back!!!Goes to Frog Follies in Evansville, In. every year. For those of you that are not familiar with FF, it is pre '50 stuff...over 350 cars every year. Sometime in mid-late August.
