Paint Colors

Sometimes when perusing the FFCars forum, I see paint jobs that I just stop and stare at the picture a while before saying, WOW! Here is one:

Sorry dude. Powder blue and light gray stripes just doesn't do it for me.
I would go for black w/silver stripes.

I like Guardsman blue with wimbeldon white stripes too.

Tell you what else is neat is the maroon color we saw on that 289 at the lake. I think that color just screams 1960s. Don't know the name of it. It's like a reddish dark purple.

I love it although I would have gone with a red on the pit stripes in place of the maroon.

I just like the fact that it's a little different without being Froggy different. I guess I like colors that aren't traditional on these cars, although I like them too. I like Kent and Rob's paint jobs too.
