paint color opinion

Hmmm, the blue car you linked to - are you also thinking no stripes? You trying for a "tribute" type car? I like blue cars a lot, just darker on these cars. However, as Tom always says, your car, go with what you like, not what we like. Just try to stay away from Silver, we seem to have an over abundance of those :)
 
If you go with blue you might use ghost silver stripes saw 1 in joilet last year and it looked alot nicer then mine with the blue and white stripe.
 
Hi Ho Silver. Tim's right. There were a plethora of silver Cobras at The London Cobra show when I went to it. BTW LCS is a great place to "shop" for color combos & take pics. I like burgandy/brandywine a lot. Kent's ride is a beauty. Burgandy with cream stripes would be cool. Check out Rich's ride.
 
I am with Dave on Burgandy or even black cherry with a lighter ghost stripe. Look at H-D new red for this year...can't remember the color name but is sharp.
 
I like that blue Keith, darker than the Guardsman and brighter than the Indigo. Are you thinking stripes? with the outside pinstripe or not? I agree, the ghost stripes are cool too.

Red is also sharp looking on these (have you seen Tom's car?)

Anything but PURPLE! :eek: LOL Tim (I think your purple looks great too!)

Weren't you talking about a Green @ the meeting? (any pictures?)

Regardless, it's really hard to get a good feel for paint color from a picture. You NEED to see it in the sun to really appreciate the color. And be careful about looking at it under some parking lot lights, my Fire-Engine Red looks orange-ish under those!

Very black cherry with ghost stripes was my first choice, Black pearl metallic with ghost stripes,candy tangerine with ghost stripes or grabber blue with no stripes.
No tribute in the works just like the color which is odd since I really dont like most blues.

The green was on a chevy truck at Barrett Jackson, slightly lighter than military green with darkish red stripes, sounds awful but was interestingly different
 
It's got to be something you'll like for a long time. Not just interesting. That's like an old girl friend. Interesting, but I didn't want to keep her long.;)
