Over tire trailer tie down straps

Just be aware that they are made to be used with vertical e track , me and Rich talked about this yesterday. Mine are for horizontal.depends on the orientation of the e clip on the end of the strap

By Horizontal, do you mean perpendicular to the tire? By Vertical, do you mean on the same plane as the tire?

Yours are horizontal. They run side to side of the car. Riches slots run front to back

Ok, I see they have sections of the vertical stuff that I can replace existing with. So, no issue there. I'm thinking the basket type are better than the single strap type, right? Or will suspension get in the way?

Don't need the other track. Order the straps with the appropriate ends. Not sure if the baskets will accomadate that wide a tire.

I looked through them all, and none have the 'horizontal' ends that I saw.

Tim, I ordered the basket style first, I could not get them to fit properly on the tire, and they where very hard to try and position on the tire as well.. I sent them back and got over the tire straps, as easy as can be.

The U-Haul I rented last year had basket-styles and they were very hard to install because you can't get your hand between the tire and wheel opening to slip it over the backside of the tire.
