What do you do with your old mags?
I used to pile them up in any place convenient to me(not to my wife) and never knew when I might look at them again.
That was the secnerio util last year when a good friend of mine who is special education teacher asked me if he could have a couple of them for his class. I gave him a handful of them and I haven't missed them!!!
He called the other day and asked if I had anymore that I might give to his class for the upcoming year. He said they would read and re-read them and it was actually good for them because it gave them something to focus on that they were interested in.
I think this is a good way to promote our hobby and interests for the future generation. Some the mags have found thier way to other classes as well.
Well the point of this, is this: contact one of your local school adminstrators and see what thier needs are.
Keep the ones that you may want to revisit....your clutter will be someone else's joy.
You might even consider buying an annual subscription for the school library.
