Well, I need to start asking for this 2 weeks in advance, maybe then I would get it updated in time. Anyway, This months car belongs to Gary and Laurie of Cottleville, MO. The pictures just don't do the color justice, but it is painted Ford Poppy Red (yes Red) with Wimbelton White Stripes. Gary's 2003 FFR MKI Roadster was assembled by Gary in 2003/04. The Engine is a Ford Racing 5.0 (302c.i.) 345h.p. crate engine. The engine has been modified with adders like GT40 heads/valve train, Holley Systemax II EFI Intake, Edelbrock 70 MM throttle body, C&L 76 mm mass air flow, 42 lb. injectors, and a Procharger SC1 Supercharger with intercooler running 10psi @ 6,000 RPM. Gary uses an MSD 6AL ignition box with a billet distributor, blaster coil and 7 mm wires feeding the plugs.
Transmission uses a centerforce clutch, hooked to a world class T-5 transmission feeding a Ford 8.8 rear and 3.73 rear gears. This is all stuck to the ground with Bilstien coil over shocks all around and a 4 link suspension.
To stop all of this business, Baer brakes are used with 13" rotors up front and 12" rotors rear. A recent dyno run performed by Omer was able to pump 445rwhp and 410rwtq (yes, more than my big block).
Cruising down the highway, Gary's stereo with four 6" speakers, four tweeters (as opposed to twitters), and one 10" bass box can be heard pumping out George Strait's "Amarillo by Morning" loud and clear (I made up that last part). Gary recently added a front splitter that he made himself. A great job on a great looking car Gary.
