A friend of mine who has helped out on my build, and was planning his own asked my to put this in the for sale area. I helped him pull the motor before the engine was built, and rode in it when it was complete. This is a great deal for someone.
His situtaion has changed and it doesn't look like an FFR is in his future. He is located in Highland also. He also has it on Craig's list, here is his info:
I have a professionally rebuilt Mustang 5.0 fuel injected engine with the engine harness, entire top end, and accessories (except power steering and A/C compressor). (built by Performance Auto in Bethalto) I only put 350 miles on it after the rebuild before I fogged it and put it on an engine stand for storage. I had intended to put all of this in a Factory Five Kit. I have the receipt for all of the engine work performed by Performance Auto in Bethalto. If you're not familiar with them they do mostly racing engine work. It is now a 306. 3 angle valve job, new pistons, valve springs, Comp cam, list goes on. I'll even throw in the engine stand.
Perfect engine.
A rebuilt from Napa or O'reily runs over $1700. This is way better.
The engine shop estimated the engine at 300 HP and 350 Lbs of torque.
That's on the stock intake and fuel injectors.
