• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

The US Snail Mail brought information on a new member, Brian Schafer.

Brian lives in Cape Girardeau (location for an upcoming cruise?) and owns a Black Factory Five - 408 Levy Racing SBF.

He hasn't been active on the forum, hopefully Brian will add comments and continue the introduction and more details on his car

Welcome to the group, Brian

Thanks everyone. I hope to get up to St Louis from time to time. I bought the kit in 2011 and finished it with a LOT of help from Mark, Brendan, and Matt Dougherty. The engine is a Levy Racing 408 with a Levy T5 transmission. It has the IRS with a 3.73 gear (might be a bit much, I have to see once I get it truly on the road). The paint was by Jeff Miller and it is amazing in person. It is a metallic black with phantom stripes. I think it is great but I will need to have a duster with me at all times. I got into this because of a friend who now lives in Springfield, Mike Moen, and I have friend in St Louis who built his own Cobra, Skip Weise. I'm looking forward to being part of the club.

Brian, thanks for posting the pictures. Look forward to meeting you and seeing your car! Maybe you can join us on Sunday 9/25 for our annual club picnic? It is one of our biggest events of the year and the most attended. Mike P.
