Also the wider forum size is to match the updated banner.
The new banner is designed (from the homepage) to work on mobile devices and tablets.
So basically, the new site is perfect for phones and iPads.

So, when viewing the site on your computer simply resize in your browser to adjust for new size.

Plus, it's really easy to add features.
Like right now I will attempt to add a live radar feed.

Once I found the new home page it looked good, but if I hit the home button I go to membership page. So I went to membership and guest what I found, yep the home page. Don't know if this has anything to do with it but my log in page is stretched from side to side

The header images on the forum are stretch in IE. Also for me the home page was loading real slow. Primarily on the images. The one from sonic especially. It may be a higher resolution or file size on that one image. Looks good Mark.
 
Things seem to work better this morning. The forum page fits my work computer but thats a 21in screen. The home button work right can't wait to get home and see if its fixed there.
I like the new home page shows a lot more of our car and tell viewers whats going on, if they want to come see them. Good job Mark

I keep getting a popup in the lower left corner, it's an ad. It is contacting superfish.com. I'm using Firefox, and i've searched, it says to go to Tools/Add-on's and uninstall superfish. Well, it isn't coming up. It's not on every page, and seems to only startup when I come here....Any clue?

The header graphic on the the forum is different than the header graphic on the home page. The result is the forum image looks stretched. Are the image settings set to "stretch" instead of a given size maybe? I've run into this on other dynamic sites.

and I think some of your graphics maps are incorrect. I assuming you are using mapping instead of an actual button to click. When I click on HOME on the forum page, I get the membership application. and the other buttons don't work.

The mapping is correct - other wise it wouldn't work for anyone.
The "stretching" you guys are thinking of is a browser thing.
Try going to your browser menu - view - zoom - reset.
Then, resize the homepage and forum as necessary.

The header for the forum and the home page is identical.

Like I said earlier - the header is a particular size for a reason.
The only change I made to the forum, is to resize the tables (width) to match the increased width of the header to make it uniform.

The pop-up has me concerned. I uploaded several weather widgets to try them out. First - there are no radar widgets - too much code I guess. The owners of sites (like The Weather Channel) really want you to visit their site so they can feed you ads. Anyway, of the weather widgets I did try - they all have hooks in them for ads - so I will delete the plugins for the weather stuff.
 
Still making adjustments to a few things.
I adjusted the forums header to a smaller size.
The result is that the forums will be easier to read.
So, you may have to adjust your browsers once again.

Your latest adjustments have the header pretty distorted. Take a look at the forum using a laptop. Looks to me that the horizontal is about 60% of the vertical. The Gateway logo looks like an egg :D and your and Tom's cars look like they're tall enough to go off-roading

Looks great on my tablet now. It looked like Paul described before on my tablet.
