• For all members (past, current, and new)

THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING TO GET THIS CLUB OFF THE STARTING LINE !!!

To begin your membership with Gateway Cobra Club please submit your vital information to our club registrar/Treasurer: Paul Proefrock

    Please include your:

Name, address, phone numbers (work, home, cell) e-mail, etc. Also, tell us about your Cobra (make, model, year, colors, engine, options, stage of build, etc.), where you bought it, any other particulars. Also include other vehicles, birthdays, your occupation & company, and any other details about you and you significant others. BTW - this info will not be posted on-line (EVER). It's just for us - to make the club better. We will eventually create a database for internal club use only.

We will begin collecting dues soon to enable the activities that we have planned for the year - so stay tuned for that.

FINALLY - get involved. Attend the meetings, schedule some cruises, and have some fun. We want to make this club fun (for the whole family). We're small (for now) but we're going to make a big noise here in St. Louis. In the end - this club will only be as good as our members participation.

Thanks for joining us - see you in the fast lane!

New FF MK111 owner

I have wanted a Cobra since I was 14 (am now65). I managed to just get a FF MK 111 from Fastlane classic cars, great folks to work with. they have a lot of Cobra experience and made buying the car a good time. Hope to meet other Cobra owners especially in Southern Illinois.

The weather looks a lot better where you are than here in STL. :)

Welcome aboard.

Steve
Former Cobra owner

Welcome to the club! I'm from southern Illinois, not too far from Carbondale, I live in Highland now. I have a mK III as well.

Welcome!

Welcome! Mine is a Mark 1.5 or what Factory Five used to refer to as a "tweener". It was a surprise Christmas gift from my Wife in 2000 that I built in 2001-02. First licensed in July 2002 and has been a source of great fun and camaraderie with the guys here or just out for the day with the Wife. At 60 I'm not too far behind you so I know you will have a great time with your car. Drive safe, it does not matter what you have driven fast before. A 90" wheelbase car with a lot of power can get away from you in a hurry. Tom

Nice looking car! Welcome. We have been trying to plan a cruise in Southern Illinois for a few years now. I think we have something figured out that will have us down that way overnight. Stay tuned!

Beep Beep

Unless of course its a big block. Then it will have a tendency to chug along like a Caterpillar D4. :D

Curious,
When we come CHUGGING along, do we wait for the point by or just CHUG on over?
