Two of my Asymmetric Solutions instructors...Grady Powell and Jared Ogden were interviewed today by Channel Five News re: their upcoming Survival Alaska Series that starts this Sunday night on the National Geographic Channel:

They both will also be interviewed tomorrow...Friday the 13th on the Today Show in NY during the Kathy and Hoda portion of the show. They will also be on Good Morning America tomorrow morning as well as on KDNL channel 30.
For those who can't watch the opening series episode on Sunday...the following is a link to the entire episode without commercial break...in which Grady, Jared and their Marine teammate Rudy Reyes raced against an Iditarod dogsled champion in a 60 hour contest over 30 MILES...of an ice packed glacier. The military team elected to RUN this portion of the segment on SNOWSHOES... while the other three teams were chasing them on dogsleds....yet...the Militarily team won through shear endurance and perseverance. It is something to see. I was in awe....
The physical and mental strength they exhibited was....superhuman.
