My next project ?

Mark if you buy that we might have to enter it in the braking contest. It would be embarrassing if it beat any of us 60-0!:)

Dan - Madison also said no way Dad.

This reminds me of one of my most regrettable automobile decisions...

When I returned from service in 1972 I bought a 360HP 1968 Ram Air Firebird. It had the highest output 400 V8 ever installed in an early Firebird. With a distributor recurve, valve body swap, and open exhaust it ran 12.86 at the old Gateway International. It was a real money maker on the steet... However, I came within 1 point of losing my license after outrunning a St. Louis Co. cop running westbound on Midland near Lindberg... then turning into a subdivision that I thought had a back exit. It didn't....One way in...one way out. Bad move....

So....to save my license I traded the car in at Stephens Honda for a new 1973 Honda Civic. I received only $750 trade in for a high 12 sec street car...! A car that today in original condition will bring $30K +

What a momentous bad move. I saved my license and got great gas mileage...but was miserable.

I still regret trading that Firebird.

Mark....DON"T DO IT....!!!

You will not be happy.
