My 2023 F150

My 23 F150 was painted yesterday. The overhead screens you see are the automated inspection cameras pointing out (red dots) areas for the polish team to address. It is being built at the Michigan Truck plant. I’m hoping to take delivery by the end of February.

I didn’t go full electric but I did get the hybrid 3.5 twin turbo with 35 Kw electric motor. 400 hp and 26 mpg is a nice combo.

Cool for sure….what’s color choice, saw pics is it Grey?…. Very nice indeed, it ain’t a Bentley but nice nonetheless!

My hybrid is doing really good and gets 22 to 24 in the city. I had to take off my active front spoiler as it kept getting hung up. Will be interested to see what yours comes with, active or stationary.

I don’t know about the front spoiler; active or not. And what do you mean about getting hung up? Mechanically? The paint color is called Azure Gray metallic. It’s a new tricoat also available on the Tremor and the Raptor. I was looking for something different this time around.

Yes, on the 2020's, the front spoiler has two worm drive motors that move an inner spoiler up and down so at higher speeds, there is less drag. Mine goes down too far and always gets hung up. Ford has worked on it multiple times. It's a common known issue. They changed the design and deleted the active spoiler, and installed a stationary one that extends down about 5"... Looks stupid.
