MSD Pro-Billet Small Diameter Ready-to-run Distributor, Ford 289/302 w/ steal gear.

Trying to find a home for my dristibutor. The EFI system I got doesn't do timing control with a Ready-to-run Distributor.

It was installed , but never run. Comes with everything except the box and packet of gear break in oil. I locked out both the advance mechanisms, but have all the parts.

$350 or any reasonable offer.

What brand cam you running.
If your running fitech you need MSD #8579 pro billet along with #84211 rotor. May need to change distributor gear depending on cam!

I got the 8598 distributor and 8421 cap, I looked at the 8579, but didn't think I needed the smaller diameter cap... the 8598 has a steal gear, I hope that all works!

I think the distributor will work if it clears your manifold. It wouldn't clear on my air gap manifold , the small base barely clears.
If your running timing control you will need a rotor to lock it out as well.
