Steven and I have participated in this event. It is an HPDE (High Performance Driving Experience) at Putnam Park. Motorvault is a sports car dealer in Indiana that sells Backdraft Cobra's. The event is well run and the price is inline with other HPDE's, plus, Cobra Replica's aren't frowned upon. Yes, it can be hot as Hades, but, well worth the price.

Steven, did you register for both days? Scot, was that your plan as well?

Ok, I'm registered for Saturday only. Will also be making a hotel reservation in Cloverdale at the Holiday Inn Express for Friday night so I don't have to leave at the buttcrack of dawn to make it to the driver's meeting Saturday. Scot, see this video that Steven took last year in his car

Thanks Ian for the cool garage and the lift to make my oil change easier! Now, just gotta change the plugs and check the brakes all around to complete my tech inspection. Looking forward to it boys!

I'm all booked at the hotel and the event. Getting the safety inspection/tech check at Fastlane next Monday. (Needed it for my plate renewal anyway). Brad M and Adam Henry are coming along for the ride and to check it out.

Awesome job Steve and Scot. I had a most disappointing day, but also really enjoyed talking track time with Scot and Steven. Great improvements made by both.

My run ended with oil temperature pegged at over 250 degrees. 😳. Don't know the exact cause, but, could have been too much oil getting sloshed about by the crank, but, just guessing🙁

I do not. Never needed one with the big block, and assumed the same with this stock 302. Gonna change the oil and make sure to not overfill and go back to 10-30W.

Had my car at Regan's getting some measurements for some steel plates I'm going to have welded in to help secure my new seats. In the process, I found one of my rotors had a crack in it 😳. Also, a lot of play in the rear pinion. Keith and Regan got a full turn on the nut while I held the brakes. The rear doesn't have the whine that it did now. 👍. Track days are hard on the equipment!

wow! crack rotors saved by high temps. You never know Gods plan, might have saved you from a bigger incident. Looking forward to seeing the seats installed
