More work than its worth????

Looks like a bargain to me considering all the work that's been done and the additional parts included.

Would be an opportunity to possibly add the new MK4 body with a little rework.

Need to know which engine and trans was originally in the car...

Did you notice the red 69 Yenko in the back of his garage?

I did. Looking around the garage I would assume a good build, but that is why I am asking. I bought last time. I don't know about building, so something like this worries me.

CK, you can do it. Anytime you need a little help or even want a build party, all you have to do is throw up a flag with this club and we'll come. It can also be a gool thing to do with your boys. Ask Craig, his boy asks when are they going to build another car. ;)

Seriously though, it looks like a big job and I'm not saying it isn't, but you eat it a piece at a time. Heck I bought a car complete and I re-did practically the whole thing and at some point I'm planning on building a final one. My LS Cobra!

Seems like a good deal. It is also back to about the same place in the build I would strip one back to, to insure things were done correctly.

Craig, that is a great point. I know with my assembled one, I had always thought of taking it apart to put it back together. Pretty much did that last year. So, from this point, the car can be done correctly.

As for the new MK4 body, not sure if there are structural components that have been changed that would require you to modify the frame.

One thing Brandon, if YOU assemble your car, you will know a lot more about what may be wrong when you are at the track.

Good points. I have sent off for more info from him. Looks like I may be late, but we will see. He is not set up for PMs so I have to wait.

Guess it was a good deal. First guy that saw it, bought it.

Tim, Thanks. As I put the funds back together to buy again I am limited on funds. That is what got me going on the top car. It is well within my immediate "play car" budget and easy to buy the parts and accessories as I go. Thanks for thinking of me!
