Looks like the ad was pulled.
Might be a nice low-dollar car for somebody, not an SPF for sure.
We've seen worse for sure.

Funny it was just pulled. I sent them a message last night asking: As this is obviously not a SPF, what is the base for the vehicle. Just curious who the manufacturer was?

Maybe it worked!

Since I live in House Springs, I've obviously driven by there. I've talked to two people there. They had purchased a rough MKII grey FFR roadster prior to this one. When I was there I was pointing out how to tell the different makes to the guy who isn't the owner. The owner is a friend of Dave Williams and he told me a couple of weeks back that he'd bought a superformance Cobra green and I believe unseen with a 427 in it, but I never saw the car. The add appears to be what he described to me, but yes, not a SPF. I'd have to guess closer to a LoneStar maybe. He seems like a nice enough guy, but I'd chalk this one up to inexperience in this arena. He seems to know his other muscle cars, just not this genre.

Thats a B&B out of Granby, Missouri . trunk mounting is the give away. Have better scam - guy in north county was selling a old street rod on ebay and sent a worthless Certifed Cashiers Check - found bank it was drawn on and they said it was computor generated and worthless, asked him to act like it was good and have the police meet scam artist at pickup time - St louis county police had info from bank but scammer was a no show. Cop told him have them bring cash and they would escort him to a bank with it. So be dam careful on a vehicle sale.

I was thinking B&B. What is it with the trunk mounting Mike? So, what are everyone's positive identifier for kit type?

I look at the roll bar(s). This one looks like a B&B.
Gotta say this though - take a look at that dual quad FE with the high rise intake.
That car's price is about the price of that motor.

You are right about the motor. Somebody threw a lot of money at that car. It's really a shame that they didn't pay more attention to it like Mike did and tuck the tires under the fenders. Loosing the dirt track wheels would really improve the look as well. Rear wheel opening is another B&B clue, no flare on the front and smallish on the rear. Overall, it appears to be a very nicely built car.

Mark:

Don't get too excited about that motor. I've been told by someone that knows FEs inside and out that he doubts it is an FE. Supposedly the carbs would be rotated 180 degrees in order to clear the distributor on an FE. There was a long list of other indications pointing toward it not being an FE but I didn't understand most of them.

Don't bother debating me because I'm just the messenger. Paul or Kerry can weigh in with expert opinion.

Probably is

Looking at the pictures, as best I can see, it appears to be an FE. Need to see it in person to say for sure but a couple of the pictures show the telltale joint between manifold and head under the valve cover. The FE is the only engine that is built this way
