As Mark said, empty everything that moves and isn't attached permanently to your car...INCLUDING FLOORMATS, caps/hats, sunscreen...etc... Don't forget the stuff in your door pockets if you have them.

Ian, as you come up to the track traffic signal, make a right instead of a left into the track.

Wayne volunteered to bring water and Gatorade. I believe concessions will be open. I typically being a couple of energy bars just in case they aren't.

There's also a Taco Bell and Subway next to the TruckStop, but Google Maps shows them as "Takeout" so may not be able to dine-in there.

David Meecey is out. He just had to have back surgery. So if anyone wants his spot we can try and work it out.
 
Quick mention: normally if you give someone the "point-by" on the straights so they can pass you, just need to let off the gas (gradual slow down). Typically you don't need to press the brakes to let cars pass since this will result in an abrupt deceleration and is dangerous for the cars behind you.
 
Gonna be 87 as weather says...are SHORTS ACCEPTABLE...or long pants required....???? Hopefully shorts will be OK.....? Please advise...thanks
 
No guidance from Misfit event postings other than for footwear and helmet.

I highly recommend no shorts; wear long pants
