If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at (314) 249-3770 or Feffman@MVPTrackTime.com. Happy Motoring and I’ll see you at the track!

That all sounds cool - but I doubt I'd be able to pass that broomstick test (from their tech rules) for my roll bar and over-sized head.

Glad you back bud. - Any pictures?

Mine does pass the broomstick test. Pics posted in my Gallery, a friend is supposed to send the rest. Dean was telling me about these tracks and how great they are, especially Putnam. Wide open nothing to hit off track.

Ok. What's the broomstick test and does it matter if I can barely see over the dash:D?

From what I can tell, they take a long stick and place it on the top of your roll bar, and rest the other end on the next available piece of body work that will hold weight towards the front to the car. In most cars the windshield qualifies - for Cobras - it would be a front fender - I think - since the windshields can support almost no weight. With you in the car, and your helmet on - the stick cannot touch your helmet. My big head and small roll bars (SPF) I would fail. Somebody else chime in if I'm wrong about the rule - not my head.

You are correct. That is the main reason for the taller roll bars on FFR cars. I thought about shortening mine and then I thought about my melon and left it alone. You can put your butt at the front of the seat to lower your head and pass but you can also be black flagged and kicked off the track when the officials see you sitting at normal height while driving.

Uh Oh. I'll bet I'm in trouble. Have you guys noticed that my roll bar is shorter than most of yours? Bet ya have. Not much gets past you guys.

I should be golden then! I can barely see over the wheel let alone under the roll bar:D.
