I've driven to Des Moines, IA a few times, and it really isn't that bad of a drive. Any interest?

Looks pretty open. I've been contacted by the mustang club hosting this event. Will share more details later.

My sister live about 30 minutes from DesMoines. I'll have to wait until it's closer, but I may go. I'll let you know.

Anyone else interested in this? Really no deadline they said, just trying to see if plans need to be made or not.

Hey Tim,
The track is built in the middle of a corn field, has no elevation change to speak of, although alot of fun.Very fast and was actually pretty technical on the motorcycle, not sure how it would relate to a car though. Have not raced there since 2007 so can't comment on the condition of the surface.
It did seem to rain just about every time we were there and it is extremely slick when wet ( more so than most tracks) hopefully the paddock is paved by now as well!!

We all stayed at the Settle Inn. There are many choices there in Council Bluffs.
