It's a bit of a buyer's market right now and have been doing some shopping. Wanted to share a pic of mechanical art I took delivery of yesterday! :D

VERY clean example..!
Many years before I raced Kawasaki four cylinders I rode BSA's. Primarily a 1965 BSA Spitfire Hornet.
While I was deployed to VN I bought a basket case 1966 BSA Spitfire MK2 Special with GP carbs that I hand carried aboard ship...piece by piece. Then rebuilt it from the frame up, painted it a muticolor paint job using a Dick Mann flatrack fiberglas seat and added Honda disc brakes and a finned aluminum oil tank machined from billet, while deployed in Tonkin Gulf. After returning to Alameda, I rolled it off the gangplank, put gas in it and fired it up on the first kick. I later towed it back home bolted to the rear bumper of my 66 Corvair Corsa to STL where I sold it at a substantial profit and bought a new Kawasaki KZ900 with the proceeds.
