Maybe Regan?
I and Rusty Williams will be there. I hope the track stays dry, I haven't drove it before, looks like an interesting track with lots of elevation changes along with steel and concrete at about every turn. Rusty has drove it a few times, I think.

Thanks for posting Tom! Looks like a great event to see or participate!! As that track is way above my skill level. :)

Weather will be the factor… lots rain coming to Ozarks… it will be sketchy… and must agree with Mike P… appears to be very unforgiving… certainly above my level as well.

I was there this past weekend for a Chin Track Event. It’s a really cool track. I only did the parade laps at about 60.
I did a ride along with a friend of mine in his Mustang. He was hitting 130 on the straight aways.

Sorry about that, here is a copy of post, hope it comes thru

Wow, what a amazing weekend and track. Had set a goal to bring the car home in one piece and hopefully run a 3:20. Thank you Rusty Williams , for letting me do some follow laps day one. Its hard to get the feel for this track by the videos, but over every crest is a blind turn, and most not flat and level. Great track will definitely be back, i feel in two days i learned a ton at this track, getting comfortable with the hoosier bias tires. Next time hopefully will be able to keep pushing thru the crests and not lift and improve on my 3:14.

Glad you had fun and took it home in one piece! Looks like a lot of off-camber corners and blind crests. Great video (y) :)

Tom,

That looks like a fun track but be careful about pushing over those crests. Our track here has some like that and on turn 9 you see nothing but sky and about 100 feet after you crest the hill there is a hard right off chamber right hand turn and many people go off into the desert there. Here is just one picture of what was left of a friends Cobra after he went over the crest to fast. He lived but was never the same again and he can't drive at all.

Is that Buttonwillow or Willow Springs?
