Keith/Naja & I hereby enthusiastically solicit an opinion from each & every club member regarding what event or enticemsent would cause a "Massive Turnout of Snakes," at a club event. Weigh in here. Let er rip. BTW I thought the turnout ford FCR was "Massive." :D BTWII Hope this is not off topic, but why is "Massive" necessarily a good or desirable goal. I have been to many events/cruises when less then "massive" was just fine & arguably better than "massive."

For Linda & I any cruise gathering is reason enough for a good turnout, especially long day cruises (not really into the overnights as much) to new or seldom visited places. This years FCR was the largest local gathering Cobra wise that has ever happened here and was a wonderful day because so many were able to actually set the day aside and follow through. I'm sure that others who would have loved to join in the fun just couldn't do it because of work, family commitments etc. and that's going to happen with any date planned for a cruise. The main thing that Keith did right (as he always has) was to announce the date early and stick with it. No "who can make it" or "what do you think's" involved, just a solid plan. So.... that's my view. Announce the plan early and stick to it. We don't even have to know where we are going, just where we are leaving from and about what time we'll be home. Tom

I agree with Tom. If you wanted more than 12, maybe a park picnic. Besides, with Paul, Scott and Tom/Clyde getting closer to road worthy, they will be able to join us pushing the total to 15 :D

Tom and Linda, unless something precludes their participation, have been contenders for MVP when it comes to cruisn'. They are veteran FFROG Hoppers, as well. Were there 3??
ANYWAY,
Thanks, you two!!!

One idea that was left off of the original pair of lists that I posited in the other thread:

Let's all get our cars out for a

MASSIVE CALENDAR PHOTO SHOOT!!!

Deb has already said she would not mind if we embellished the idea with a request for the Hooters Girls to help showcase and highlight the curvaceous features of our lovely rides!

Sell the calendars and put the proceeds to good use.

Mark is already working on that. If you have some high quality photo's of your ride - 1) a side/angled view; 2) Engine bay ; 3) Cockpit view - submit to Mark via e-mail. I think we almost have enough for a full calendar. Mark I know is swamped, so trying to help him out, you can e-mail to me as well.
