I'll save Timbo some time this month
The March car of the month is Backdraft Roadster #879, otherwise known as "VENM-S". The completed roller was purchased from Backdraft Racing in Durban, South Africa in November 2009, arrived stateside in February 2010 at Boynton Beach, Florida where my options were added (more later), then was shipped up to Dean Lampe's place in early March. My engine was built by Lumpy at Performance Motorsports in Greenville, IL and was delivered to Dean's the weekend of April 15th with the engine install immediately following delivery.
The car was officially licensed in MO July 10, 2010 and the "fun" and "exciting" shakeout period began. As we sit now, VENM-S is running fine but still a little rough around the edges...nothing some more miles won't cure.
