It is a fun event and a great way to increase your driving skills off public roads!

I would attend but have a High School Reunion that same day and I haven't been to one in 25 years.

Updated the registration link. I registered tonight. $67. Hope others will join me. Will stay at the same hotel as before.

Received the following via email from M.A.C.C. regarding the AutoX:
Hello Everyone,

First off, thank you for signing up for the 2026 Mid-America Cobra Club Autocross on June 6th at the Blue River Precision Driving Center. We’re excited about the number of registrations so far, and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic event.

With just about 30 days remaining before autocross day, we wanted to send out a quick update.

We are now approaching our maximum car count for the event. Because we intentionally keep this autocross smaller than most in order to maximize driving time and reduce downtime between runs, available spots are becoming very limited.

If you have friends who have been thinking about participating, now is the time to encourage them to register at https://msreg.com/MACCautoX26

A few important notes:

• Pre-registration WILL be required
• There will be NO day-of-event registration
• Once we hit our limit, registration will close

To make sure everyone has time to review and prepare, here's a link where you can download the Self-Tech Form: MACC Autocross Tech Form.pdf

Please:
• Print the form
• Fill it out completely
• Bring it with you to the event

You will turn the completed form in to our club tech staff during check-in.

We appreciate everyone helping us keep the event running smoothly and safely, and we’re looking forward to a fun day with a great mix of cars and drivers.

Please don't hesitate to drop us a line if you have any questions.

I'm signed up. Tim I'll reach out and see where you want to stay. I thought we stayed at a Drury Inn the last couple of times, but I could be remembering some other place. I'll be running with the original FFR half shafts. :(

I plan on coming out Friday leaving the house around noon.

I'm planning on leaving about the same time. Where do you want to stay? I'm up for anything.

Back from KC. Had a blast yesterday and the car performed great, driver sux though. 🙄. It was a sold out event and they had setup the longest course yet. The event was well ran and all 4 groups had 5 back to back runs each. There were a few pros this year and it's amazing to see a properly prepared car go through the course. The fastest one was a 2015 Mazda Miata that almost ran a 48 flat lap. This was 2 seconds faster than the other pros. I haven't seen the official sheets yet, but I think the fastest Cobra ran a 58 second lap. My time? Best was a 60.8.
I only took a few pics, but a lot of variety. And yes, that an International Scout and an all electric BMW.

Car temps stayed within reason and overall very happy with the car. But man, am I rusty! Hope more of you can join me next year.
