As some of you may or may not know, Linda had back surgery to remove a portion of a ruptured disk on July 12th. The disc caused some numbness from her waist down, and she is unable to walk without the assistance of a walker and has some other issues as well. They call it Cauda Equines Syndrome. The Dr's are optimistic that she will get to full recovery, but have no time table as to when since each person responds differently. There is a slight chance that she won't recover at all and or not to 100%, but we're praying for 100% and hope that is the outcome.
Wanted to let you know and the reason why there's been a lack of participation on my part. Need some new 'blood' to step in and plan cruises and or events for people to gather for a while. Thanks to those of you who've offered to help. Right now, I don't know of anything we need. Follow up Dr's appointment is tomorrow, then continued outpatient therapy at Mercy in Town and Country (141/Clayton area).
